A "self-directed" option is listed for some of your courses. What is this?
The self-directed option allows you to complete course requirements on your own time
schedule without coming to class. It is not an online class.
Taking the class with this option is best suited for those
who already have a good knowledge of the subject material,
are comfortable working independently and do not require help
from the instructor to complete course requirements.
If you need help from the instructor you should be attending class.
Refer to the course syllabus for more information.

How much time will this course take?
Most courses I teach require programming.
Programming requires a LARGE time commitment.
Students learn by spending large amounts of time solving problems
and practicing programming techniques at their computer.
You do not learn the material merely by listening to the instructor
or by reading a text.
Be prepared to spend 10 hours+ per week (more during summer)
to learn the course material correctly.

General Exam Information.
Exams are now administered online for most classes.
If your class uses online exams, then you will take the exam on your own

available after add/drop is completed up until the cutoff date/time.
You can choose to take any of the exams at any time they are available.

arrises, you will be out of luck.
